Finance Manager

Bookkeeper/Finance Manager - (West of Bicester) - £35-40k p.a.

Our client, a leading and well-established Engineering and manufacturing company based west of Bicester, is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper/Finance Manager to join their stable and supportive company with a rich history, that's led by a great Managing Director that this role would report into.

In this pivotal Bookkeeper/Finance Manager role, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the business, including:

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Reconciling bank accounts and managing cash flow
• Handling accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and legislation
• Providing financial analysis and reporting to senior management
• Liaising with external accountants and auditors as required

The ideal Sole Finance Manager candidate will have:

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Finance Manager, preferably within a similar SME environment
• Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and financial management best practices
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain meticulous financial records
• Proficiency in using accounting software, such as Xero or QuickBooks
• Exceptional organisational and time-management skills
• The ability to work independently and proactively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

In return, our client offers a competitive salary of £37,500-40,000k per annum,and the opportunity to work for a respected and growing Engineering organisation.
