Audit Manager
Exciting Opportunity - Audit Manager £75.000 - £80.000
A Top 10 multi-disciplinary advisory, tax and audit firm with expertise across multiple sectors, uniquely positioned to help people realise their ambitions, is looking for an Audit Manager to join their London office, working directly with partners and directors, providing client focused and commercially aware services in an efficient and professional manner. You will mentor, train and manage junior members of staff to enable them to develop and progress with the option of being involved in formal training if desired.
As an Audit Manager, you will:
- Manage audit and accounts assignments, including planning, budgeting, delegation, and finalisation, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
- Lead and develop team members through mentoring, training, and providing constructive feedback, while overseeing staff workloads and progress.
- Contribute to practice development by identifying growth opportunities, assisting with client pitches, and attending client events.
- Demonstrate strong technical expertise in UK accounting standards, corporate tax, and various accounting frameworks (UK GAAP, FRS, IFRS), with experience in tech/fintech audits being highly valuable.
- Exhibit excellent client management skills, commercial awareness, and commitment to continuous professional development, while maintaining adaptability and attention to detail
The ideal candidate is a fully qualified professional with strong grasp of corporate tax, UK auditing and accounting standards, and expertise in various accounting frameworks (UK GAAP, FRS, IFRS). Experience in tech or fintech audits is highly desirable, as is familiarity with substantive and controls-based audits, group reporting, and cross-border groups. The role requires commercial awareness, excellent communication skills, commitment to client service and continuous professional development, along with strong time management, attention to detail, and adaptability. The ability to provide constructive feedback is essential.
