Financial Controller
Location: Kilburn High Road, North West London
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000
We're seeking a dynamic Financial Controller to join our client, a leading creative company in the luxury fashion media industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the back-office function and potentially progress into a Finance Director position in an acquisitive, growing business.

The Role
As Financial Controller, your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Preparing and analysing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Providing financial insights and recommendations to the senior management team
- Managing cash flow and treasury functions
- Implementing and maintaining robust internal controls and financial processes
- Driving the annual budgeting and planning process
- Conducting financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Managing the finance team and fostering their professional development
- Implementing and optimizing financial systems and technologies
- Developing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Supporting M&A activities with financial due diligence and integration planning
Ideal Candidate
We're looking for:
- A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualiffie dby experience with great commercial finance experience
- Experience in the fashion, media, luxury, or events industry is advantageous
- Proficiency in financial analysis and advanced Excel skills
- Familiarity with ERP systems and financial software
- An innovative thinker who can bring fresh perspectives to finance
- Someone comfortable in a fast-paced, in-office environment
- A collaborative professional able to work effectively with creative teams
- Excellent communication skills, able to convey financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
