Up to £45,000 + 15% Bonus - Peterborough - Permanent
Our client, a well-respected global manufacturing group with a rich 50+ year heritage, is seeking a commercially focused Management Accountant. They've built their success on innovation, quality, and exceptional people - demonstrated by their outstanding staff retention and development record.
The Role: Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll play a pivotal role in commercial financial control. Working from their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, you'll be joining a business that combines traditional manufacturing excellence with modern financial practices.
Management Accountant Key Responsibilities:
- Drive commercial financial reporting, ensuring accuracy of sales and COGS across manufacturing operations
- Partner with commercial teams on pricing strategies, contract management and production cost analysis
- Lead monthly reporting cycles, budgeting and forecasting processes
- Oversee inventory valuations and cost optimization initiatives
- Manage key reconciliations and commercial cost recovery programs
The Ideal Management Accountant Will Offer:
- Strong manufacturing/production finance background
- Advanced Excel skills with SAP experience
- Proven experience in variance analysis, forecasting and management reporting
- Understanding of manufacturing cost drivers and margin analysis
- Additional European language skills advantageous
