Services span auditing, accounting, tax, and corporate finance, with a special focus on innovative, entrepreneurial, owner-managed businesses.
About the Outsourcing Team
Their rapidly expanding Outsourcing division has seen significant growth in recent years, reflecting the increasing demand from clients across a variety of industries. The division supports businesses by managing their financial operations, offering anything from basic bookkeeping and VAT compliance to detailed management accounts.
Services can be tailored to specific client needs, whether they require help with individual financial tasks or seek a fully outsourced solution for their finance functions. The portfolio of businesses typically include owner-led, providing the opportunity to engage directly with key decision-makers and make a tangible difference to their operations.
Your Role
As an Outsourcing Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing a portfolio of diverse clients, ensuring the successful delivery of outsourced services.
- Managing the production of monthly/quarterly financial reports, including cash flow forecasts, budgets, and bookkeeping, as well as VAT return reviews.
- Acting as the lead contact for your clients, coordinating additional services like tax compliance, payroll, and advisory support.
- Assisting new clients with system implementations and process optimizations, aligning their needs with the right financial tools and systems.
- Leading and mentoring a team that includes trainee, assistant, and management accountants.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, while also managing billing and fee discussions.
Required Experience
While enthusiasm and a drive to learn are key, the following qualifications and skills would be beneficial:
- Professional qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA required).
- Experience managing client portfolios and delivering outsourced financial services.
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations, including Making Tax Digital (MTD).
- Proven leadership experience, including line management.
- Proficiency in accounting systems such as Xero, Dext, Approval Max, and QBO, as well as expertise in cloud-based solutions.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
