A Top 10 multi-disciplinary advisory, tax and audit firm with expertise across multiple sectors, is looking for an Audit and Accounts Manager to join their London office, As an Audit and Accounts Manager you will be working directly with partners and directors, providing client focused and commercially aware services in an efficient and professional manner. You will mentor, train and manage junior members of staff to enable them to develop and progress with the option of being involved in formal training if desired.

As an Audit and Accounts Manager, you will:

  • Manage audit and accounts assignments, including planning, budgeting, team supervision, and finalizing reports for partner review and submission to relevant authorities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, internal teams, HMRC, and other professional advisors, while promoting the firm's interests.
  • Oversee staff management, including mentoring trainees, providing constructive feedback, and assisting with in-house training and professional development.
  • Contribute to practice development by identifying new business opportunities, assisting with client pitches, and attending client gatherings or seminars.
  • Handle administrative duties such as improving internal systems, assisting with billing procedures, and supporting debt collection efforts when necessary

The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified professional with expertise in UK auditing, accounting standards, and corporate tax, strong commercial awareness, communication skills, and client service commitment, with the ability to manage complex projects.
