A Top 10 multi-disciplinary advisory, tax and audit firm with expertise across multiple sectors, is looking for an Audit Trainee to join their Advice, Audit and Accounts team in their Redhill office. As an Audit Trainee within the Advice, Audit and Accounts team, you will actively promote and market the firm and its services, to attract new clients and
retain and develop relationships with existing clients, with the opportunity to work across a
range of sectors.
As an Audit Trainee - Advice, Audit and Accounts team, you will:
- Conduct audits for various entities (companies, solicitors, charities, schools) both on-site and off-site, demonstrating a clear understanding of audit testing and approaches across different sectors.
- Prepare financial statements and basic corporation tax computations in accordance with relevant standards and legal requirements.
- Assist in managing client relationships, including attending meetings, managing expectations, and drafting recommendations following audit fieldwork.
- Support team development by working with and mentoring other trainees, participating in internal networking, and contributing innovative ideas to improve systems and processes.
- Handle administrative duties such as client communications, file management, and assisting with the preparation of audit meeting agendas and discussion points.
The ideal candidate will be a ACA students or AAT Level 4 qualified candidate with at least 1 year of audit experience. Technical proficiency, software knowledge, and strong communication skills are essential, adaptable, relationship-oriented, and committed to personal growth.
