Senior Property Tax Consultant

Position Overview


We are seeking a motivated and analytical Staff Property Tax Consultant to join our clients team. Qualifications

  • College degree preferred in one of the following fields:
    • Accounting
    • Finance
    • Mathematics
    • Economics
    • Engineering
    • Other quantitative disciplines
  • Three to five years of experience in a consulting firm, with experience in property tax matters
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel


Responsibilities

  1. Assist in the preparation and filing of property tax returns for clients
  2. Conduct research on local and state property tax laws and regulations
  3. Analyze property valuations and assessment data
  4. Support senior consultants in property tax appeals and audits
  5. Help maintain and update property tax compliance calendars
  6. Participate in client meetings and conference calls as needed
  7. Assist in the development of property tax savings strategies
  8. Contribute to internal training sessions and knowledge sharing initiatives
  9. Perform data analysis and reconciliations to ensure accuracy of property tax filings
  10. Help prepare reports and presentations for clients and internal use
