Type: Full-time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processes for a high volume of weekly paid staff.
  • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in all payroll activities.
  • Process payroll data, including new hires, terminations, changes in salaries or benefits, timesheets, and deductions.
  • Review and validate timesheets, ensuring adherence to company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Prepare and reconcile payroll reports, tax filings, and other payroll-related documentation.
  • Assist the Payroll support team to manage employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and deductions in a professional and timely manner.
  • Stay updated with legislative changes, industry trends, and best practices in payroll administration to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Prior payroll experience in high volume payroll processing within a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in using payroll software and MS Office suite, with Excel skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and excellent numerical accuracy.
  • Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with team members, clients, and external parties.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
