Qualifications
Required Credentials
- Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in the state of Colorado
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax preparation and planning
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Extensive knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
Professional Experience
- Proven track record of managing multi-state and complex tax engagements
- Experience with corporate, partnership, individual, and international tax returns
- Strong skills in tax research, compliance, and strategic tax planning
- Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor junior tax professionals
- Proficiency in leading tax technology platforms and software
Key Responsibilities
Client Services
- Develop and implement comprehensive tax strategies for corporate and individual clients
- Prepare and review complex federal and state tax returns
- Provide proactive tax planning advice to minimize tax liabilities
- Manage client relationships and serve as primary point of contact for tax matters
- Conduct tax compliance reviews and ensure accuracy of all tax submissions
Team Leadership
- Supervise and mentor junior tax staff
- Participate in staff development, performance evaluations, and training programs

Technical Expertise
